Ohio High School Basketball - Minford holds off Valley

December 9, 2022: Minford, OH 45653

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) and the visiting Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH), saw Minford's basketball squad hold off Valley by a tally of 61-57.

With the victory, Minford improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Waverly (Waverly, OH) to confront the Tigers in a Southern Ohio II challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Indians confront the South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH) in a Southern Ohio II challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Jeeps come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 57-47 non-league win over Jackson (Jackson, OH).
