The Piedra Vista Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Miyamura Patriots to 52 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manzano for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Piedra Vista will meet a Monarchs team coming off a 75-72 non-league win over Menaul (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 2-3.
The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Menaul (Albuquerque, NM). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Menaul was nudged by Manzano (Albuquerque, NM), 75-72, in a non-league contest.
