The Palisades Pirates basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Moravian Academy Lions to 51 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Notre Dame-Green Pond for a Colonial - East contest on Monday, December 12. Palisades will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 56-22 league win over Bangor (Bangor, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-1.

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Saucon Valley nudged Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA), 59-34, in a non-league contest.
