North Carolina High School Basketball - Berry overwhelmed by Myers Park

December 9, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28209

The Berry Cardinal basketball team (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 69-21 in Friday's league battle with the host Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC)

The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopewell for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 10. Myers Park will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 72-62 league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-1.

The Cardinal (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres come into the 4A Conference 49 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, South Mecklenburg trounced Palisades (Charlotte, NC), 65-55, in a league battle.
