Maine High School Basketball - Noble knocked off by South Portland

The South Portland Red Riots basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Noble Knights to 60 in the Red Riots league triumph on Friday.

The Red Riots now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windham for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. South Portland will meet a Eagles team coming off a 68-58 league loss to Gorham (Gorham, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.

The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Trojans enter the AA South contest with a 1-0 record.
