Fans at Friday's league challenge between the River Pilots (Hannibal, OH) and the host Shadyside Tigers (Shadyside, OH), saw River's basketball squad wallop Shadyside by a tally of 76-33.

With the victory, River improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Pilots host Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH) to confront the Zeps in a Ohio Valley AA challenge on Friday, December 16. The Zeps come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Shadyside will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 48-33 league win over Barnesville (Barnesville, OH).
