Arizona High School Basketball - Tanque Verde crushes San Miguel

Tanque Verde Hawks (Tucson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host San Miguel Vipers (Tucson, AZ), 80-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Tanque Verde upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Hawks host Catalina (Tucson, AZ) to play the Trojans in a 3A South bout on Monday, December 12. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Catalina lost 68-43 in their recent non-league bout against Douglas (Douglas, AZ)

Next up, the Vipers play the Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. San Miguel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 63-53 non-league win over Lourdes Catholic (Nogales, AZ).
