St. Clair County Fighting Saints (Odenville, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Springville Tigers (Springville, AL), 80-28 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Clair County upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Fighting Saints host Moody (Moody, AL) to play the Blue Devils in a 5A Area 11 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Moody lost 53-47 in their recent league bout against Leeds (Leeds, AL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Springville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 53-52 non-league loss to Tarrant (Birmingham, AL).
