North Carolina High School Basketball - Wayne Country Day crushes Epiphany

December 9, 2022: New Bern, NC 28562

Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC), 85-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Wayne Country Day upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Chargers travel to Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Oakwood Eagles (Greenville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Epiphany will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 65-41 league loss to Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC).
