North Carolina High School Basketball - Millbrook tops Clayton

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC), saw Millbrook's basketball squad knock off Clayton by a count of 69-50.

With the victory, Millbrook upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC) to play the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Comets play the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Clayton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 58-49 non-league loss to Clayton (Clayton, NC).
