AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA), 60-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, AGWSR upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Wapsie Valley lost 44-22 in their recent league bout against Oelwein (Oelwein, IA)

Next up, the Rebels play the Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Gladbrook-Reinbeck will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The J-Hawks come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 49-47 non-league loss to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA).
