The Hardin Hornets basketball team scored 32 points and held the visiting Anahuac Panthers to 18 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orangefield for a 3A Region III District 22 contest on Tuesday, January 3.

The Panthers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Warren (Warren, TX). The Warriors enter the 3A Region III District 22 contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Warren was defeated by East Chambers (Winnie, TX), 41-31, in a league contest.
