The Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Nantahala Hawks (Topton, NC), 58-29 in Friday's league test.
The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Maroon Devils go into the 1A Conference 43 test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Swain County walloped Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC), 70-52, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Highlands for a 1A Conference 43 test on Tuesday, December 13. Nantahala will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 50-25 league win over Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-3.
