In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Broadwater Academy Vikings basketball team scored a decisive 40-14 triumph over the Chincoteague Ponies.
In their next game, the Vikings meet the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a Metropolitan match, on Tuesday, January 3. Broadwater Academy will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
With the defeat, Chincoteague moves to 0-2 on the year. The Ponies host Wicomico (Salisbury, MD) to meet the Indians in a non-league match on Monday, December 19. The Indians enter the match with a record of 1-1.
