Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Geffen Academy Bruins (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting California Academy of Math & Science Rebels (Carson, CA), saw Geffen Academy's basketball squad overcome California Academy of Math & Science by a tally of 45-29.

With the victory, Geffen Academy improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bruins host Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA) to confront the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Wiseburn- Da Vinci lost 72-26 in their recent league challenge against South (Torrance, CA)

Next up, the Rebels confront the Rolling Hills Prep Huskies (San Pedro, CA) in a Coastal challenge, on Wednesday, December 14. California Academy of Math & Science will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 58-52 non-league loss to Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA).
