The Jacobs Golden Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Crystal Lake South Gators to 32 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Friday.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, December 12. Jacobs will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Bison enter the game with a 3-7 record after their 52-23 league win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL).

With the defeat, Crystal Lake South moves to 2-6 on the year. The Gators host Cary-Grove (Cary, IL) to face the Trojans in a Fox Valley game on Tuesday, December 13. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 6-3. Cary-Grove won 31-20 in their recent league game against McHenry (McHenry, IL)
