The Dalton Academy Pumas basketball team (Dalton, GA), was overwhelmed 71-12 in Friday's league battle with the host Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pepperell for a A D1 Region 7 battle on Tuesday, December 13. Trion will confront a Dragons team coming off a 55-40 league loss to Armuchee (Rome, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 6-2.
The Pumas (0-9) will now prepare for their battle against Dade County (Trenton, GA). The Wolverines come into the A D1 Region 7 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Dade County was overwhelmed by North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL), 64-49, in a non-league battle.
