Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA), 65-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Dike-New Hartford upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Wolverines host Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA) to play the Stormin' Pointers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Stormin' Pointers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Center Point-Urbana lost 52-40 in their recent non-league bout against Solon (Solon, IA)

Next up, the Pirates play the South Hardin Tigers (Eldora, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Hudson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 44-42 league win over Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA).
