The East Rankin Academy Patriots (Pelahatchie, MS) basketball crushed the host Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders (Pearl, MS), 49-15 in Friday's league test.
The Patriots (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Columbia Academy (Columbia, MS). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Columbia Academy was routed by Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS), 38-29, in a non-league contest.
The Crusaders (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Cougars enter the MAIS 5A District 2 contest with a 13-3 record.
