Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs (Melrose, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Eleva-Strum Cardinals (Strum, WI), 52-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Melrose-Mindoro upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Viroqua (Viroqua, WI) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Blackhawks come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Viroqua lost 54-28 in their recent league bout against Arcadia (Arcadia, WI)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Whitehall Norse (Whitehall, WI) in a Dairyland - Large bout, on Thursday, December 15. Eleva-Strum will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
