Onaway Cardinals (Onaway, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Forest Area Warriors (Fife Lake, MI), 58-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Onaway upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Central Lake (Central Lake, MI) to clash with the Trojans in a Ski-Valley bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-0.
