Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV), 71-66 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Summers County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Hampshire (Romney, WV) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Hampshire lost 75-28 in their recent non-league bout against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV)

Next up, the Falcons play the Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Frankfort will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 62-42 non-league win over Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV).
