The Woodside Wolverines basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Gloucester Dukes to 12 in the Wolverines league victory on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Menchville for a Peninsula contest on Tuesday, December 13. Woodside will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Monarchs record now stands at 4-0.

The Dukes (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hampton (Hampton, VA). The Crabbers come into the Peninsula contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Hampton triumphed over Warwick (Newport News, VA), 91-37, in a league contest.
