The Hornets now possess a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookeland for a 1A Region IV District 28 battle on Tuesday, December 13. Goodrich will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 42-41 non-league win over Beckville (Beckville, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-3.

The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Spurger (Spurger, TX). The Pirates come into the 1A Region IV District 28 battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Spurger beat Bob Hope (Port Arthur, TX), 41-27, in a non-league battle.
