Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) and the visiting Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), saw Grayslake North's basketball squad hold off Grant Community by a tally of 57-51.

With the victory, Grayslake North improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Prospect won 56-25 in their recent league challenge against Wheeling (Wheeling, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL) in a Northern Lake County challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Grant Community will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 38-30 league win over Lakes (Lake Villa, IL).
