The Hicks Pirates basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Oberlin Tigers to 56 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairview for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Hicks will battle a Panthers team coming off a 77-32 non-league win over Evans (Evans, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 17-4.
The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson Bayou (Cameron, LA). The Rebels come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Johnson Bayou was defeated by Merryville (Merryville, LA), 65-37, in a non-league contest.
