Wilson Mustangs (Wilson, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Holy Cross Crusaders (Midland, TX), 2-0 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wilson upgrades its record to 8-14 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Loop (Loop, TX) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Loop won 24-12 in their recent non-league bout against Wilson (Wilson, TX)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Holy Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 22-12 non-league win over Wilson (Wilson, TX).
