California High School Basketball - South East can't hold off Huntington Park

The Huntington Park Spartans basketball team scored 26 points and held the visiting South East Jaguars to 25 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gardena for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Huntington Park will battle a Panthers team coming off a 45-36 league win over Banning (Wilmington, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
The Jaguars (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy nudged San Gabriel Mission (San Gabriel, CA), 60-8, in a non-league contest.
