The South Lyon Lions basketball team scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Kettering Captains to 8 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinckney for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. South Lyon will battle a Pirates team coming off a 57-14 non-league loss to Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 2-1.

The Captains (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI). The Cougars come into the Lakes Valley contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, South Lyon East prevailed over Pinckney (Pinckney, MI), 63-40, in a non-league contest.
