In Friday's league match, the host King Academy Knights basketball team scored a tight 45-43 triumph over the Laurens Academy Crusaders.
In their next game, the Knights meet the Wardlaw Academy Patriots (Johnston, SC) in a SCISA A Region IV match, on Tuesday, January 3. King Academy will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
