Laurel Christian Lions (Laurel, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Sacred Heart Crusaders (Hattiesburg, MS), 53-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Laurel Christian upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Enterprise (Enterprise, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 9-0.

Next up, the Crusaders play the Sylva Bay Academy Saints (Bay Springs, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Sacred Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 45-31 non-league loss to Canton Academy (Canton, MS).
