The Shepherd Mustangs tipped the host Lodge Grass Indians basketball team by a final score of 56-54 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Poplar Indians (Poplar, MT) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 10. Shepherd will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 82-14 non-league win over Roundup (Roundup, MT).
