Georgia High School Basketball - Macon County knocked off by Taylor County

December 9, 2022: Montezuma, GA 31063

The Taylor County Vikings basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Macon County Bulldogs to 37 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chattahoochee County for a A D2 Region 6B contest on Tuesday, December 13. Taylor County will battle a Panthers team coming off a 56-25 league win over Greenville (Greenville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.

The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Wilkinson County was defeated by Portal (Portal, GA), 47-10, in a non-league contest.
