The Menomonie Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting New Richmond Tigers to 41 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chippewa Falls for a Big Rivers contest on Tuesday, December 13. Menomonie will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 65-50 league win over Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-3.

The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hudson (Hudson, WI). The Raiders come into the Big Rivers contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Hudson prevailed over River Falls (River Falls, WI), 67-45, in a league contest.
