Georgia High School Basketball - Westover nudges Monroe

In Friday's non-league outing, the Westover Patriots (Albany, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA), by a count of 53-49.

The Patriots (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Valdosta (Valdosta, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Valdosta was tipped by Tift County (Tifton, GA), 50-47, in a non-league outing.
