Schenevus Central Dragons (Schenevus, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Morris Central Mustangs (Morris, NY), 43-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Schenevus Central upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Dragons host Franklin Central (Franklin, NY) to play the Purple Devils in a Section 4 Tri-Valley bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Purple Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Franklin Central lost 52-14 in their recent league bout against Worcester (Worcester, NY)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Schenevus Central Dragons (Schenevus, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Morris Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
