Michigan High School Basketball - Western overwhelmed by Northwest

The Northwest Mounties basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Western Panthers to 39 in the Mounties league victory on Friday.

The Mounties now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Ledge for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Northwest will battle a Comets team coming off a 64-36 non-league win over Charlotte (Charlotte, MI). The Comets record now stands at 2-3.

The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI). The Panthers come into the Interstate 8 contest with a 3-1 record.
