With the victory, Ontonagon improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Watersmeet (Watersmeet, MI) to confront the Nimrods in a Copper Mountain challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Nimrods come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Watersmeet won 42-36 in their recent league challenge against Johnston (Bessemer, MI)

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Ewen-Trout Creek Panthers (Ewen, MI) in a Copper Mountain challenge, on Monday, December 12. Wakefield will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 55-39 league win over Wright (Ironwood, MI).
