Kansas High School Basketball - Rawlins County overwhelms Wheatland-Grinnell

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rawlins County Buffaloes (Atwood, KS) and the host Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks (Grainfield, KS), saw Rawlins County's basketball squad wallop Wheatland-Grinnell by a tally of 49-19.

With the victory, Rawlins County improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Quinter (Quinter, KS) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Quinter won 66-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Pawnee Heights (Rozel, KS)

Next up, the Thunderhawks confront the St. Francis Indians (St. Francis, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Wheatland-Grinnell will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 58-43 non-league win over Wallace County (Sharon Springs, KS).
