Salem Sundevils (Virginia Beach, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA), 48-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Salem upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Sundevils travel to Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Catholic won 68-17 in their recent non-league bout against Currituck County (Barco, NC)

Next up, the Lions play the Kempsville Chiefs (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Tallwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Chiefs come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 79-34 league loss to Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA).
