The The Carmel School Wildcats basketball team scored 26 points and restricted the visiting The New Community School Sabers to 13 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grace Christian School for a VISAA Division IV contest on Thursday, January 5.

The Sabers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tidewater Academy (Wakefield, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Tidewater Academy prevailed over Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA), 37-26, in a league contest.
