The Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes (Whitefish Bay, WI) basketball nipped the host West Bend West Spartans (West Bend, WI), 70-64 in Friday's league test.

The Blue Dukes (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Grafton (Grafton, WI). The Black Hawks go into the North Shore test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Grafton was tipped by Cedarburg (Cedarburg, WI), 62-61, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to De Pere for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. West Bend West will encounter a Redbirds squad coming off a 43-29 league win over Green Bay Preble (Green Bay, WI). The Redbirds record now stands at 2-3.
