West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting West Jefferson Panthers (Terreton, ID), 43-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Side upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Firth (Firth, ID) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Firth won 43-41 in their recent non-league bout against Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID)

Next up, the Panthers play the Salmon Savages (Salmon, ID) in a 2A Nuclear bout, on Tuesday, December 13. West Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Savages come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 49-15 non-league loss to Rockland (Rockland, ID).
