The Anderson Cubs basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Corning Cardinals to 21 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cubs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasant Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Anderson will meet a Vikings team coming off a 49-14 non-league win over Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-1.
The Cardinals (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Anderson (Anderson, CA). The Cubs enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Anderson was routed by Shasta (Redding, CA), 45-21, in a non-league contest.
