The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) basketball nipped the host Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), 39-36 in Friday's non-league test.
The Green Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Strasburg was tipped by Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA), 25-21, in a non-league test.
The Black Knights now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Goochland for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Charlottesville will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-10 non-league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
