The Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) basketball nipped the host Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA), 26-24 in Friday's non-league test.

The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Bassett (Bassett, VA). The Bengals go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Bassett was tipped by Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 32-17, in a non-league test.

The Comets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Patrick County for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13.
