The Newark Reds (Newark, NY) basketball knocked off the host Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY), 48-31 in Friday's non-league test.
The Reds (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Geneva (Geneva, NY). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Geneva went down by Wayne (Ontario Center, NY), 53-10, in a non-league test.
