North Carolina High School Basketball - Avery County knocked off by Ashe County

December 9, 2022: Newland, NC 28657

The Ashe County Huskies basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Avery County Vikings to 31 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Draughn for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21.

The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Rosman was defeated by Brevard (Brevard, NC), 49-14, in a non-league contest.
