Virginia High School Basketball - Council topped by Northwood

The Northwood Panthers basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the host Council Cobras to 21 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marion for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Northwood will battle a Scarlet Hurricanes team coming off a 44-15 non-league win over Northwood (Saltville, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes record now stands at 1-1.

The Cobras (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA). The Titans come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
