Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC), 55-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Davie upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The War Eagles travel to Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Camels in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Camels come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Atkins lost 62-36 in their recent non-league bout against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Demons play the Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. R.J. Reynolds will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
